I'm Kel, the brain behind Monkfish Studios. My journey into the creative realm began in rural California. As a woman of color, I've always been drawn to stories and art that reflect a multitude of perspectives and experiences, believing firmly in the power to enrich and elevate creative endeavors from all voices. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Digital Art and Animation, The world of video games was my first professional endeavor, where I immersed myself in storytelling. I found myself yearning for worlds and stories of my own to see the Light. From drawing on my homework during my childhood to the digital canvases of today, my journey has been one of constant learning, growing, and creating.

Hello everyone! I’m Kiran, non-binary gamer and hobby artist. Looking back on my life in Southern California it was filled with comic book reading and writing stories. I loved the Justice League and was drawn to DC comics. A lot of my inspiration overall however has been Mike Mignola and I’ve studied him a lot in my life. I’ve always had stories running through my head and I decided it was time to just do it! I’m a psychology student and so I love creating relatable characters. I’ve not been in the industry and am largely self-taught with friends along the way helping me improve.
